February was another record-breaking month! Compared to February 2020, sales were up 12.1%!
Throughout February there were 260 new residential listings. This gave it an increase of 10 new listings, or an increase of 4%, from February 2020.
However, by the end of the month there were 301 active residential listings. This was the lowest amount of active listings in the month of February in over 30 years! The remaining months of inventory stands at 1.3 in the end of February 2021 – this means that if no new listings were brought onto the market, the existing inventory would be sold in 1.3 months at the current rate of sale! To help put it into perspective, the average number of months of inventory for this time of year is 7.2.
